Contrary to what most people think the most common seasonal allergies come from trees not flowers. Their pollen is carried by wind, not by insects, so it travels much further.

In cities as well as the countryside the biggest culprits come from a conifer which is used as an ornamental tree. Including the cedar and juniper trees, the Cypress family is present throughout southern Europe and the United States

And it’s not only in spring that this tree causes a problem for allergy sufferers, as it can begin releasing its pollen as early as December, right through to March or April.

Cypress allergy is a real challenge to avoid and amongst the most widespread seasonal allergies.

As soon as this allergen hits our nasal passages we can feel its effects on our breathing ways and experience the typical allergy symptoms: stuffy, congested nose (rhinitis), sneezing and in some cases, asthma.

Decongestants are the usual remedy for a stuffy nose, as well as other medical treatments suuch as anti-histamine tablets, nasal sprays and allergy syrups.

But if, like us, you believe that prevention for seasonal allergies is better than cure, there is a medically proven solution and that is to use SinuSet nasal filters; a small and discreet device, virtually invisible and easy to wear for adults as well as children, SinuSet filters are inserted through the nostrils and act as a powerful and effective defense barrier against pollen and other airborne allergens such as dust, smoke and mites.

See the full product spec of SinuSet filters and let Cypress allergy be a thing of the past; embrace and enjoy the fresh air again!
